Product Developer
Location: Dearborn, MI (Hybrid)
Duration: 6-month contract

About the Role
Our client is seeking a Product Developer to support their apparel development team. This role will partner closely with cross-functional teams to help move products from concept through production, ensuring accuracy, organization, and strong communication throughout the development process.

What You'll Do
Maintain accuracy of Bill of Materials (BOMs) from prototype to production
Coordinate communication with internal teams and external partners
Manage lab dips, wash development, and graphics:
Submit and track requests
Communicate updates to suppliers
Support the Product Development Manager with finished goods testing
Maintain EMEA sample and digital libraries
Track development progress and ensure deadlines are met
What You Bring
Experience & Education

Bachelor's degree in Apparel Design or related field (preferred)
1+ years of relevant experience (2+ years preferred)
Equivalent combination of education and experience considered
Technical Skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Experience with Adobe Illustrator
Familiarity with PLM systems (preferred)
Core Competencies

Knowledge of apparel construction and basic fabric/trims
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn
