About the Role
The Company is seeking a Senior Director for CEO and Product Communications. This pivotal role is at the intersection of executive and product narrative, with a focus on shaping the understanding of the CEO and the company's industry platforms by key external audiences. The successful candidate will be a strategic counselor, executive operator, and a central point of alignment between product strategy, corporate positioning, and company narrative. Key responsibilities include serving as the primary communications partner to the CEO, leading the development of high-visibility executive content, and owning the communications strategy for the company's various industry groups. The role demands an individual with exceptional writing and storytelling skills, executive presence, and the ability to influence and build alignment with senior leaders.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 12 years' experience in communications, particularly in enterprise technology or B2B software, and a proven track record in both CEO and product communications. They should be adept at translating complex technology into market-relevant narratives, with a deep understanding of the communications rhythm of a public company. The role requires a leader with strong strategic judgment, the ability to engage with technical leaders, and a network of strong media relationships, particularly in the enterprise technology and industry press. The Senior Director will also be responsible for leading and developing a high-performing team, managing external resources, and ensuring operational excellence in a fast-paced environment.
