Role Overview

The Director of Communications will oversee day-to-day brand communications, public relations, partnerships, and marketing initiatives across Meredith Marks, Meredith Marks Caviar, and related ventures. This role is both strategic and hands-on, focused on elevating brand visibility and executing high-impact campaigns across multiple business lines.


The ideal candidate is highly organized, creative, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.


Core Responsibilities

Brand Communications & PR

  • Lead and execute communications and PR strategy across all Meredith Marks Brands, Meredith Marks personally, and related family ventures.
  • Manage media outreach, press inquiries, interview requests, and press opportunities.
  • Identify opportunities to integrate brand messaging into broader media coverage.
  • Track media coverage and oversee PR reporting.

Partnerships & Brand Collaborations

  • Identify, source, and execute brand and personal partnerships, sponsorships, and collaborations.
  • Coordinate partnerships with aligned luxury, lifestyle, hospitality, entertainment, and consumer brands across events and experiences.
  • Coordinate partnership integrations across campaigns, events, and experiences.

Events & Activations

  • Collaborate in the planning, preparation, and execution of brand events and activations.
  • Manage communications with media surrounding product launches, pop-ups, appearances, and events.

Communications

  • Oversee and manage brand communication, marketing, email, and social strategy across Meredith Marks Brands and Meredith’s personal platforms.
  • Develop strategic direction and concepts for marketing initiatives, email campaigns, and social content.
  • Ensure cohesive execution of messaging across all platforms, including oversight and review of email and social content prior to launch to maintain consistency, brand alignment, and strategic impact.

Qualifications

  • 4–7+ years experience in communications, PR, marketing
  • Strong media, influencer, and brand relationship network preferred
  • Ability to travel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable working across luxury, jewelry, hospitality, and entertainment categories
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to execute quickly
