Production Technician I, Kiefel(7:00pm-7:00am)

Your Role at Baxter
As a Production Technician I - Kiefel, you will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and performing quality checks on a Kiefel machine, along with maintaining a clean and safe work environment in a cleanroom setting.

What You’ll Be Doing

Operate, monitor, and adjust the Kiefel machine, using the electrical control panel (HMI) or making manual adjustments as required.

Load and replenish production supplies (e.g., injection sites, tubing, PVC/Non‑PVC roll stock, adhesive) to meet production needs.

Perform scheduled quality checks, disposition product, identify deviations, and take appropriate action, including stopping production if necessary.

Inspect finished product to ensure quality standards are met.

Load and secure finished product in mobile closets.

Execute machine changeovers (material changeovers only) when assigned.

Document required information on manufacturing logs and/or the POMS system.

Identify, correct, or Escalate any inefficiency in the machine’s performance.

Test, inspect, and package Inter‑Plant Shipping Orders (IPSO).

Notify the supervisor and take appropriate action if any safety, quality, or mechanical issues occur.

Learn, understand, and apply rigorous quality standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).

Sustain a clean and safe work area using 6S principles, including maintaining and securing provided tools.

What You’ll Bring

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.

At least 1–2 years of Production Technician or manufacturing experience, including preventative maintenance and machine troubleshooting.

Basic English written and oral communication skills adequate to communicate with team members.

Ability to understand verbal and written safety and quality instructions.

Basic mathematics skills.

Proficiency with a calculator and measurement tools (calipers, snap gauges, rulers) and basic hand tools.

Physical Requirements

Ability to push/pull and lift/carry up to 50 pounds and stand/walk continuously throughout the shift.

Normal visual acuity required.

Ability to squat, climb, reach above shoulder level, reach at or below shoulder level, twist and bend at the neck, twist and bend at the waist, and balance.

Compensation
Pay rate: $44,000.00 annually.
