Sr Content Designer

A leading financial services company is hiring a Sr Content Designer to support a team focused on creating user‑centered help content. This position is based in Brooklyn, onsite 5 days a week for a 3‑4 month contract to start. Responsibilities

UX writing for apps, web, and complex process screens

Supporting legacy redesigns and net new product launches

Ensuring clarity, accuracy, and regulatory compliance

Acting as on‑call support for high priority content needs

Develop clear, engaging help articles, FAQs, tooltips, and educational materials for payments products to support user onboarding and activation.

Ensure content consistency by contributing to style guides, content patterns, and design standards.

Create reusable content components and identify opportunities for standardization across platforms.

Qualifications

Over 5 years of experience in content design, UX writing, or related fields with a strong portfolio.

Proven ability to craft help and instructional content for digital products.

Experience working within established design systems and content standards.

Skilled in collaborating with product and technology teams, with strong stakeholder management skills.

Proficiency with tools such as Figma, Lucid, Confluence, or Miro. A background in payments, financial services, or banking is preferred; familiarity with AI tools and accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA) is a plus.
