About the Role

Account Executives in the Enterprise Sales team focus on new customer growth and drive revenue by partnering with customers to craft relevant solutions and guide them from legacy platforms to Workday’s cloud products.
Responsibilities

Develop strategy for prioritizing, targeting, and closing key opportunities in the assigned territory.
Perform account planning for assigned accounts, coordinating with pre‑sales and other resources to ensure strategic alignment.
Initiate and support sales of Workday solutions within medium‑enterprise prospects and shares.
Advance Workday value propositions.
Maintain accurate and timely customer/prospect, pipeline, and service forecast data.
Basic Qualifications

3+ years of experience selling SaaS/Cloud based ERP, HCM, Financial, Planning, or Analytics solutions to C‑level executives in a field sales position, OR 18+ months as a Workday Sales Development Representative with a documented track record of exceeding quotas and participating in late‑stage sales cycles.
2+ years of experience negotiating deals with a variety of C‑Suite Executives to close opportunities, OR equivalent internal Workday program completion.
3+ years of experience engaging in a programmatic approach to generate and develop leads within your territory.
Other Qualifications

Proven track record in a high‑velocity sales cycle, including prospecting for a portion of opportunities.
Understanding of the strategic competitive landscape of the industry by staying up to date with trends and customer needs.
Experience leveraging and partnering with internal team members on account strategies.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Compensation and Benefits

Annualized base salary ranges for the primary location (NY, New York City) are $110,400 USD – $134,700 USD. The role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan, role‑specific commission/bonus, and annual refresh stock grants.
