Program Coordinator – Off‑Campus Student Life
Salary: $22.99 per hour; benefits eligible.

Overview
Under the direction of the OCSL Program Manager, the Program Coordinator provides critical support to off‑campus students in the Bozeman area. The role offers housing, transportation, and safety guidance, and facilitates community engagement to help students thrive academically and transition successfully to life in the local community.

Responsibilities

Provide direct 1:1 student advising sessions to share resources, support housing navigation, and connect students with campus and community services.

Coordinate student referrals to the Division of Student Success and community partners as directed by the Program Manager.

Work collaboratively with the ASMSU and OCSL teams, maintaining a student‑centered and professional approach.

Participate in meetings with community housing stakeholders, such as property managers and leasing offices.

Support the weekly operations of OCSL’s safe ride program, CatCab.

Collect and organize student and housing data, providing summaries for program assessment and reporting.

Assist in the development and maintenance of web content and educational materials, including print and digital marketing, the OCSL website, and social media content.

Manage educational materials and resource databases, such as the Off‑Campus Housing Marketplace.

Collect and maintain records and data to support program evaluation and future development.

Support the Program Manager with general office administration and coordination of workshops, events, and educational programming.

Handle day‑to‑day administrative support and operational execution of OCSL activities.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent education and experience.

Experience with professional marketing strategies, including social media and web content management.

Strong confidentiality skills and attention to detail.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Proficiency with personal computers and software such as word processors, spreadsheets, databases, and email.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with diverse students and stakeholders in a collaborative team environment.

Background in housing management or student advising.

Experience partnering with campus and community organizations.

Event planning and facilitation experience.

Competence in the use of generative AI tools in a professional context.

Build effective working relationships with co‑workers, departments, and community partners.

Work independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision.

Organize and prioritize multiple assignments, meet deadlines, and adapt to shifting priorities while maintaining a positive and professional attitude.

Communicate effectively with students and stakeholders, using excellent verbal and written skills.

Maintain confidentiality of records and information.

Benefits and Compensation
Hourly wage of $22.99, commensurate with experience, education, and qualifications. Eligible for university benefits.
