Territory Includes:

Rochester / Buffalo, New York. The ideal candidate will live in Rochester or the surrounding areas. (Relocation assistance not provided).
Position Summary

This role will provide you with the opportunity to lead key activities, career growth, and the ability to do impactful work.
Responsibilities

Provide Scientific Knowledge, Business Acumen, and Customer Engagement expertise to specialist customers in support of a GSK biologic product.
Understand the reimbursement/distribution landscape for specialist customers and identify the appropriate resources (e.g. Payer Relations Managers, HUB, headquarters approved materials) to refer customers to appropriate resources for reimbursement and distribution choices, always working within GSK guidelines and values.
Maintain knowledge and data, which are constantly changing, with respect to the treatment of Lupus and Lupus Nephritis.
Provide product educational programs/in-services to customers.
Work within Compliance guidelines and GSK values always.
Develop strategies and tactics to generate sales.
Develop and implement strategies specific to each customer within an account (i.e., Rheumatologists, Nephrologists, nurses, mid-levels, business/office managers).
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with Marketing, Payer Relations Managers (Market Access), Medical (MSLs), and other functions within GSK.
Effectively manage allocated resources.
Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
Ability to travel domestically as necessary, which in some territories may include overnight travel up to 20%.
Valid driver’s license.
Must be able and willing to drive or operate a vehicle – driving is an essential function of this role.
The selected candidate will be hired at the appropriate level based on experience:

Specialty Account Specialist (grade 8): 5+ years of pharmaceutical/medical device experience.
Senior Specialty Account Specialist (grade 7): 12+ years of pharmaceutical/medical device experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Specialty Products that utilize the Buy & Bill or Specialty pharmacy modes of distribution.
Expertise in working with Payer Reimbursement Managers.
Biologic/Rare Disease/Immunology Sales experience.
Work Arrangement

This position is primarily field-based and requires regular travel within an assigned territory. The role is hybrid in nature, combining remote work with in-person customer engagement and office collaboration as needed.
Compensation & Benefits

The US annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges from $145,500 to $242,500. The US salary ranges take into account a number of factors including work location within the US market, the candidate’s skills, experience, education level and the market rate for the role. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program which is dependent on the level of the role. Available benefits include health care and other insurance benefits (for employee and family), retirement benefits, paid holidays, vacation, and paid caregiver/parental and medical leave. Compensation will be discussed during the recruitment process if not displayed.
