Job Description:
Review, edit, and audit legal opinions and other caselaw content
Analyze legal documents to identify key issues and determine precedential relationships
Apply approved history and treatment letters and phrases in accordance with Legal Editing Guidelines
Review history and treatment lettering against source material
Ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of all editorial work
Verify history chains and treatment relationships using designated tools and workflows
Resolve complex editorial and legal analysis questions
Identify guideline ambiguities or workflow improvements
Requirements:
JD, LLB, or LLM degree
Strong legal research, analytical, and writing skills
Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply legal precedent and editorial guidelines
Ability to work independently while exercising sound judgment and escalation when appropriate
Excellent reading comprehension and issue-spotting skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet critical deadlines
Flexibility to adapt to evolving workflows, including AI-assisted processes
Strong written and verbal communication skills
