The Student Experience Manager is responsible for supporting Aramark’s clients with product innovation, merchandising, and promotions. This role serves as a liaison between Aramark’s Marketing team and client’s account locations, ensuring that client and consumers’ needs are met, while adhering to Aramark standards. This role will also focus on proactive innovation and customer satisfaction within the client account, using insights to drive promotions and progress.

Compensation Data
COMPENSATION : The salaried rate for this position is $73,500.00 to $99,750.00. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. This is Aramark’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

Job Responsibilities

Conduct marketing research and data collection: focus groups, surveying, campus mapping, trend development/research, a la carte pricing analysis.

Strategic planning, innovation and creativity: develop marketing plans and new strategies and tactics for promoting meal growth with additional programming and promotions.

Retention support: support presentations and Client Business Reviews (CBRs) associated with the client account or district in which the client account resides.

Marketing: coordinate special events, promotions, marketing collateral, media interaction, public relations, website updates, and social media marketing.

Build relationships with clients, parents, teachers, staff, board members and community subgroups.

Merchandising: ownership of merchandising of all stations and service areas with a goal of increasing sales and encouraging students to make a meal.

Client relationship: connect with clients regularly to present new ideas and plans for delivery on client-driven goals in partnership with the operations team.

Identify opportunities to implement new innovations, technology solutions, products and services that support growth and client retention.

Ensure participation in the annual Student ViewPOINT survey and use results to drive decision-making for menu changes, promotions and programming; share results with operations team and clients.

Develop and implement communication strategies that enhance engagement with students, parents, and administrators.

Act as liaison between the organization and the community, ensuring transparent and consistent communication with parents, teachers, and students.

Create and manage communication materials, including newsletters, announcements, and social media content, to keep students, parents and administrators informed and engaged.

Collaboration with teams: work closely with Aramark and district to ensure consistent messaging and alignment of communication efforts across the organization.

Feedback mechanisms: establish channels for feedback from students, parents, and administrators to continually improve communication strategies and address concerns effectively.

Qualifications

At least 3 years of product, marketing, and/or merchandising experience.

A passion for the hospitality industry, as well as food and beverage services.

Ability to work effectively in a heavily matrixed organization and influence without formal authority.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business or marketing.

Proven ability to increase sales and measure the return on investment from implementation of programs.

Demonstrated ability to be proactive and assertive in identifying and capturing growth opportunities, as well as thinking creatively and strategically.

Excellent interpersonal skills, including presentation, public speaking, and client interaction.

Proficiency in social media and Microsoft Office products.

Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Canva, web-based sites, editing and videography.

Influencing without formal authority – ability to create an informal network to support program pilots, implementation and collection of best practices and measurements.

Project management – ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with strong time management and multi-tasking skills.

Valid driver’s license and vehicle.
