Hybrid. Requires onsite presence at Studio Park in West Chester, PA several days per month. Relocation assistance is available.
Responsibilities
Attend development meetings with designers, merchants, and vendors to understand vision and provide technical guidance.
Build detailed technical product development packs in the PLM system using the designer’s initial sketch, BOM, and construction details.
Attend prototype fittings and product review meetings to ensure aesthetic and measurements meet specifications; update PLM with changes.
Support the product lifecycle from concept through final production approval, maintaining consistency in fit and aesthetic across brands.
Develop, update, and utilize a library of blocks and patterns to meet standards and expedite production.
Lead all fit sessions, fitting garments weekly to meet QVC standards and brand integrity.
Adjust patterns, analyze garment construction, and provide expertise in fit and construction.
Measure samples and compare construction and overall execution against tech pack requirements.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in fashion design or related program.
Minimum 6–8 years of industry experience in technical design.
Strong understanding of the technical design process and product construction.
Experience sourcing, developing, and marketing apparel across multiple brands.
Proficiency in a PLM system.
Excellent pattern‑making, grading, and draping skills.
Knowledge of garment construction and fitting techniques.
Proficiency with PC operations, MS Office, Excel, Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, adaptable to international cultures.
Travel
Required to travel to meet vendors and suppliers; potential for international multi‑market travel.
