Primary Purpose of Position
Teaching undergraduate level courses, conducting research, advising and mentoring students, recruiting, curriculum development, scholarly activities, and other tenure-required activities. Additional duties include accreditation processes, program assessment, and service to the department, college, and university.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Collaborate with members of the business community to improve programs, develop new programs, and provide student access to learning opportunities such as internships.
- Supervise undergraduate or graduate teaching, internship, and research work.
- Serve on academic or administrative committees dealing with institutional policies, departmental matters, and academic issues.
- Participate in student recruitment, registration, and placement activities.
- Participate in campus and community events.
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent skills and experience.
- Experience/skills in broadcast engineering preferred.
- Four years of progressive experience in broadcast radio and media environment management.
