We develop innovative programs that reach and influence physicians, advocates, patients, regulators, policy makers, payors and the consumers at the center of it all.This Account Executive, Health position is a hybrid in-office role (3x per week), based out of the We. Communication's New York City office.ResponsibilitiesAccount Management & Strategic ThinkingConduct news monitoring and draft client-facing article summaries and recommendationsDevelop and maintain program and project action plans/timelinesIdentify opportunities for integration with media, digital and creative teamsMedia and Influencer EngagementDevelop targeted media lists and pitch anglesContribute to media efforts, including pitching or research requestsSupport influencer programs, including influencer audits, contracting and content developmentContribute to brainstorms & strategic campaign developmentProvide timely and in-depth analysis of coverage results & trendsDigital & Social Media AcumenAssist in creating high-level digital/social media strategies that are integrated into communication plansEngage with agency digital & monitoring divisions regarding client projects & deliverablesDraft content for amplifying news on client or executive social propertiesDevelop and maintain social editorial calendarsClient EngagementBegin anticipating client communication challenges & develop recommendationsContribute to development & implementation of communication strategiesExecute tasks associated with projects; may lead certain aspects of projectOversee client meeting agendas & recaps; own a speaking role on callsBegin to understand clients' business model from a global perspective; understand key markets, global influencers and the impact on the client/business narrativeNew Business DevelopmentBecome familiar with We. capabilities across the agency including global regional specialties in comparison to competitor agenciesServe in a lead research role on organic growth new business efforts including sourcing and gathering audience, industry or competitor market dataUnderstand & identify potential opportunities to grow & diversify existing accountBegin to develop and nurture network of peer contacts outside the agencyPeople LeadershipBegin gaining management skills by mentoring junior level staffBe a peer resource to staff, interns & new hiresManage up to senior staffQualificationsBachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, English or related field2-3 years of experience in PR, preferably in an agency setting and/or within the healthcare industryProficiency with Microsoft Office suite (particularly Outlook, Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint and Excel)Strong writing, editing, presentation and research skills.Ability to drive client relationships, provide strategic and tactical advice, provide thoughtful analysis on news coverage, identify proactive opportunities, craft materials including press releases, pitches and social media content, and reference/source material content is highly desirableProven media relations experienceCreative, team player that can work in a fast-paced environmentAn interest in developing integrated communications skills incorporating digital and social mediaCompensation The base annual salary range for this role, applicable across all U.S. locations, is outlined below.
