Senior Designer – Workday
A role with the Design team means a big opportunity to start from scratch and create something truly original. As a senior designer, you will lead the product design and development for Cat & Jack Girls’ Knit Apparel, driving brand cohesion, ensuring product quality and alignment with merchant objectives.

Responsibilities

Maintain diligent workload management and communicate clearly with partners.

Lead knit product research, design and development, translating ideas into product direction and guiding on materials, washes, trims, artwork, garment construction and fit.

Identify and forecast trends across categories through market research and global shopping.

Travel to global markets and factories for trend research, product development and program execution.

Mentor associate designers and foster collaboration across the broader team.

Collaborate with the design team on concept development, color palettes, fabrics, trims and artwork that support the overall category design vision.

Ensure brand cohesion and continuity through collaboration with peers across the division.

Create professional presentations featuring research and illustrations that communicate design intent.

Support product designs that uphold the brand vision while aligning with merchant line plans, assortment strategies and price points.

Collaborate with technical designers and sourcing partners to identify, troubleshoot and resolve product issues.

About You

Four‑year degree in Design, Fine Art or related field, or equivalent experience.

Minimum of 8+ years of experience.

Proficiency with design systems including Illustrator and Photoshop.

Advanced understanding of textiles, garment construction/fit, raw materials and product production.

Commercial sense, market knowledge and the ability to research and apply trend information.

Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.

Creative, innovative and cost‑effective design solutions that meet business objectives.

Knowledge of product development processes.
