Job Description
The Transfer Relationship Manager is a highly skilled professional who provides customer service to students and parents throughout the admissions process. This role is responsible for developing relationships to build a pipeline with state colleges to recruit transfer students and manage email queues. Additionally, the Manager will assist in conducting dynamic presentations and effectively answer questions about admission and application requirements and processes. The position reports to the Admissions Team Administrator, Transfer Relationship Management.

Responsibilities

Assist in developing a recruitment plan to implement and meet specific enrollment goals for transfer students. Manage an assigned recruitment territory by attending outreach activities in collaboration with state college representatives and community partners, including occasional overnight travel.

Participate in the development, implementation, and communication of the onboarding process and success steps for prospective students.

Provide backup support to Customer Success Reps by managing the front desk as needed to handle walk‑in customer support and provide customer service to students and parents throughout the admissions process.

Assist with email queues and provide occasional backup phone support to the call center, managing outreach to students for document collection and completion.

Attend state colleges and transfer admissions events to build relationships with prospective students, applicants, counselors, and parents. Provide admissions guidance through information sessions, presentations, and meetings in in‑person and group settings and act as a point of contact.

Coordinate and participate in outreach and access activities for community and university partners as needed. Adhere to office‑wide travel policies and standard operation procedures.

Analyze data to determine marketing effectiveness and impact on applicant and enrollment objectives for targeted populations. Develop and utilize reports and dashboards to aid in decision making and support the recruitment team.

Compile and analyze statistical data for routine, periodic, and ad hoc reports. Prepare regular recruitment activity reports, statistical analyses, and enrollment projections.

Build and maintain relationships with college counselors on behalf of USF. Collaborate with university faculty and staff, departments, and community partners to reach enrollment goals.

Maintain effective communication and provide admissions guidance to students.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of five (5) years of related experience — or — an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability to partner and build strategic relationships with both internal and external key stakeholders.

Comprehensive knowledge of the field’s policies, procedures, and practices.

Eligibility is conditional upon meeting all employment eligibility requirements in the U.S. (see Senate Bill 1310 for applicable substitutes of work experience for degree requirements).
