Job Summary
We are seeking a Technical Writer for a direct-hire opportunity in El Segundo, CA, supporting technical documentation for software products in the telecommunications services industry. This role is ideal for a highly organized, detail-driven professional who enjoys working independently while partnering closely with software developers and technical teams.

The Technical Writer will create, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve user guides, manuals, release notes, templates, documentation repositories, and structured content. This is a strong opportunity for a documentation specialist who wants to contribute to product quality, improve user experience, and work in a collaborative software environment with supportive technical leadership and cross‑functional teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

Create, update, and maintain user guides, manuals, technical documentation, release notes, and product support content.

Partner with software developers to gather technical details, document new features, and update existing content as software products evolve.

Manage documentation repositories, templates, CSS files, style standards, and publication workflows.

Review, edit, proofread, and test documentation for clarity, accuracy, consistency, formatting, and usability.

Troubleshoot documentation tools, imports, exports, targets, macros, batch files, and publishing issues.

Maintain compliance with documentation standards while improving content structure, readability, and quality.

Compensation and Benefits

Annual salary: $95,000.

Job type: Direct hire.

Location: El Segundo, CA.

Medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and statutory sick pay for assignments lasting 13 weeks or longer.
