Airbus is seeking a

Field Service Representative (FSR)

to serve as the critical bridge between our global engineering power and airline customers. This field role is embedded on‑site, providing the technical expertise and strategic influence necessary to ensure safe, economical, and world‑class aircraft operations.

Location
This role will be based on‑site at an Airbus customer site in the United States. Relocation support may be provided and the specific worksite will be decided based on customer needs, with possible future relocation.

The Airbus Field Service team is a high‑autonomy, high‑accountability group of experts who thrive in the “Entry Into Service” (EIS) environment. They identify snags, transfer know‑how, influence maintenance safety, and protect the Airbus image through technical competence.

Your Challenges

Provide technical advice and transfer know‑how to Engineering & Maintenance departments at entry into service of new aircraft types.

Resolve aircraft technical problems under high pressure during aircraft on ground (AOG) situations.

Influence airlines to adopt OEB, particularly RED OEB, to improve fleet safety.

Assist with a wide variety of operational matters and answer airline queries, including standby outside working hours.

Maintain business relationships with airlines and home bases.

Adapt to specific airline needs, including cultural and climatic environments.

Perform ‘Meet and Greet’ activities (Ramp Operations) during entry into service.

Support CSIP process by securing high‑level airline participation.

Provide status of applicable Airbus supervised retrofit campaigns and advise airlines on fleet reliability statistics.

Update airlines on current and future mandated modification requirements.

Brief airlines on selected services and support tools such as Tech Request and Airbus World.

Transfer aircraft MSN into the Airbus database and hand over Flight Safety Digest & brochures.

Relay technical events and snags to Airbus to improve aircraft maturity.

Support post‑delivery reporting such as OR3M process.

Assist the FSM in producing periodic reports and ensure in‑country administration needs are followed.

Run station independently, including during entry into service.

Your Boarding Pass

Bachelor’s degree in engineering (aerospace, aeronautics, mechanical, electrical), or Aircraft Maintenance, or a FAA A&P License, or an EASA B1 or B2 license, or an AME license, or equivalent work experience.

Minimum 5+ years in a related field service or comparable role.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Quick reaction, strategic thinking, and accurate customer relationship management.

Ability to prioritize customer needs with available Airbus services.

Fluent English written and spoken.

Travel Required
Some domestic and international travel.

Compensation
Base salary in the range of $107,000.00–$120,000.00 USD, based on experience. The position is located at the Denver airport in Colorado and may require relocation if the candidate does not live nearby.

Physical Requirements

Vision adequate to read materials on computer screens.

Hearing sufficient to engage in conversation and hear alerts.

Speaking ability for conversations and presentations.

Operate personal and office electronic equipment.

Carry up to 30 lbs; lift up to 50 lbs; push or pull items.

Stand and sit for extended periods.

Walk on uneven surfaces; occasionally squat or kneel.

Travel domestically and internationally for short periods.
