Role Summary
Develops, writes, edits, and distributes internal communications such as newsletters, intranet updates, announcements, and presentations to inform and engage employees about company news, policy changes, and key initiatives. Manages messaging calendars, ensures consistency in tone and branding across platforms, and monitors feedback channels. Utilizes various tools (e.g., intranet, email) to deliver content, supports employee meetings or events, gathers staff input to improve effectiveness, and may verify alignment with external communications.

About The Role

Write, edit, and publish content across McAfee’s internal channels - including the Hub (intranet), employee email, Viva Engage, and digital signage - ensuring everything that goes out meets McAfee’s voice, tone, and style standards

Draft a range of content types including intranet stories, employee spotlights, newsletter items, event recaps, and evergreen content that fills the editorial calendar between major campaigns

Support the development of campaign assets such as FAQs, manager toolkits, and talking points in partnership with more senior team members

Help maintain the editorial calendar - tracking upcoming content, flagging conflicts, and keeping the shared view accurate and current

Assist with the distribution of employee communications, including pre-send proofreading, list verification, scheduling, and post-send tracking

Support the planning and execution of internal events and engagement activations, including logistics coordination and on-site support as needed

Pull and compile channel analytics - email open rates, intranet traffic, engagement data - to support the team’s measurement and reporting

Maintain organized tracking documents, content libraries, and project status updates that keep the team and stakeholders informed

Pitch in across the team wherever needed during high-volume moments - this role is a key part of making big things happen smoothly

About You

3–5 years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, public relations, or a related field

A strong writer with good instincts for voice, tone, and clarity - able to adapt style and format across different content types and audiences

Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities without dropping the ball

Proactive and collaborative - you look around, figure out what’s needed, and follow through reliably

Experience using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects)

Proficiency in PowerPoint and/or Keynote for executive presentation design

Able to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent work experience

Pay Range
The anticipated compensation for this position is USD $65,610.00/Yr. - USD $107,790.00/Yr. depending on experience and qualifications.
