Assistant Planner, Social Media

Responsibilities Campaign Management – 30% Develop mastery and proficiency in all internal buying and reporting tools, including platform interfaces and native tools for application/analysis into competitive landscape, target digital consumption support, plan development and reporting.
Assist in measurement planning and pixel generation and third-party ad tracking needs with manager direction.
Traffic plan assets such as creative and required tracking tags.
Execute QA of tracking functionality and creative units to identify and solve issues.
Create campaign post‑launch information (screenshots, links, placement info) to demonstrate proof of placement for clients.
Generate insertion orders within internal systems to reserve advertising space and ensure detail accuracy and delivery confirmation.
Assist in setting up client Paid Social campaigns and posts via paid social platforms and third-party buying tools with manager oversight.
Monitor financial tracking documents and assist with reporting.

Reporting – 30% Monitor pacing and optimizations of active social campaigns across client roster daily.
Generate high‑level performance insights and recommendations relative to active client campaigns.
Own client roster reporting on campaign performance and proactively communicate issues.
Assist with reporting and data collection outside of client roster as needed.

Social Media Planning – 15% Assist in developing proposals for paid social media campaigns across active client roster.
Create media‑specific documents such as RFPs, media plans, objectives and strategies decks.
Analyze proposals and partner negotiations.
Monitor new & emerging opportunities and apply knowledge.
Assist in team‑level administration: vendor meetings, status documents, deliverable calendars.

Learning & Development – 15% Attend agency learning sessions and vendor meetings.
Participate in internal and external learning opportunities (e.g., Facebook Blueprint, Twitter Flight School, Horizon Media 101).

Relationship Development – 10% Own and maintain active communication with internal client roster teams to manage timelines and cross‑collaborative meetings.
Partner and build relationships with internal teams (Analytics, Digital, etc.).

Qualifications A strong, effective communicator.
A problem solver with the ability to develop creative solutions.
Detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills.
Effective time manager, comfortable with multiple timelines and deliverables.
Comfortable working with large sets of data and numbers.
A helpful team player with business maturity, willing to roll up your sleeves.
Flexible in working independently and with a team.
Takes pride in ownership of work and demonstrates accountability.
Thrives in agile, fast‑paced environments and seeks feedback proactively.
Results‑ and solution‑oriented, consistently motivated, proactive, and resourceful.
Interested in paid social media landscape and trends.

Preferred Skills & Experience Relevant work or internship experience.
Experience in fast‑paced environment and ability to multi‑task.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Salary Range $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 (actual base salary may vary based on skills, experience, and qualifications).
