Full-time, second shift 1500 - 2300 (3:00pm to 11:00pm).
We're seeking a Communication Representative to join our team! In this role, you’ll assist with switchboard operations and manage incoming calls, pages, and messages, ensuring accurate and timely communication.

Responsibilities
Support switchboard operations by handling incoming calls, pages, and messages, ensuring accurate routing and timely communication across the organization.
Prioritize and manage calls based on urgency while providing excellent customer service to patients, staff, and visitors.
Monitor alarm systems (fire, medical, panic, gas, weather) and relay critical information to appropriate emergency teams.
Coordinate afterhours communication, relay messages to on‑call staff, and maintain up‑to‑date contact lists and on‑call schedules.
Arrange auxiliary communication services, including ASL and LEP interpreters, to support patient and visitor needs.
Assist with daily telecommunications operations, report issues, and support troubleshooting to minimize service disruptions.
Contribute to process improvement by communicating system inefficiencies and maintaining documentation, logs, and emergency communication records.
Support emergency response efforts as needed, including participation in the Hospital Emergency Incident Command System.
Qualifications
Education
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Experience
Experience as a secretary, receptionist, or customer service in a busy public office is preferred.
