Creative Program Manager – Amazon Transportation


Amazon Transportation is a critical component of Amazon’s first‑class transportation network, overseeing all global middle and last mile products for B2B and B2C customers. It includes Amazon Freight, Amazon Relay, Amazon Freight Partners, Amazon Shipping, Amazon Flex, Amazon Hub, and more.


About the Team (Creative Garage)


The Creative Garage (CG) is an internal creative studio supporting the global transportation portfolio. The team builds brand awareness, acquisition, and engagement through stories behind logistics, working closely with marketing and insight partners. We focus on creative expression across the customer journey and continuously raise standards.


The Creative Program Manager owns day‑to‑day execution and project management of high‑impact creative projects. The role evaluates creative workflows, documents scalable mechanisms, builds relationships with stakeholders, and drives cross‑functional alignment.


Key Responsibilities



  • Triage and traffic new creative requests, assessing information gaps and identifying owners.

  • Project‑manage creative development from concept to production across mediums such as video, digital, social, OOH, direct mail, events, and sales collateral.

  • Build and manage workback schedules, understanding dependencies, and ensuring timely delivery.

  • Hold team members and partners accountable to project timelines.

  • Apply process‑improvement methodologies (Agile, Lean, Kaizen, CIP) to boost productivity.

  • Identify and document tool and process innovations to improve studio efficiency and quality.

  • Build relationships with client partners, educate them on studio processes and SLAs, and consult on solutions.

  • Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, and balance business needs with constraints.

  • Present studio work and updates to stakeholders and partners.

  • Build trust, respect, and credibility with stakeholders and team.

  • Employ critical‑thinking and problem‑solving to deliver solutions.

  • Manage post‑launch support (post‑mortems, issue/ticket management) and seek improvement opportunities.

  • Promote transparency, visibility, and community within the team.


Basic Qualifications



  • 5+ years of program or project management experience.

  • 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics.

  • Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and SQL proficiency.

  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.

  • Experience working cross‑functionally with tech and non‑tech teams.

  • Knowledge of creative and brand development processes.

  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple competing priorities independently.

  • Experience in cross‑channel deliverables—photography, video, digital, social, print, OOH.


Preferred Qualifications



  • Self‑starter with ownership and bias for action.

  • Experience with digital technologies and creative process platforms (PM software, etc.).

  • Experience gathering and analyzing data for continuous business improvements.

  • Strong process‑improvement background and creative project management skills (CIP, Kanban, Kaizen); attention to detail is crucial.

Compensation


Base salary range: $82,700.00 – $129,800.00 USD annually.
