Responsibilities
Supervise employees in a manufacturing environment, plan and assign work, and implement policies and procedures.
Recommend improvements in production methods, equipment, operating procedures, and working conditions.
Ensure the manufacturing process remains safe, smooth, and efficient by organizing workflows in collaboration with the Production Manager.
Lead, direct, train, and assist teams; embody OBE’s Mission, Vision, and Virtues.
Balance safety, quality, productivity, cost, and employee morale to achieve positive results; continuously improve in all areas.
Provide leadership, motivation, and professional guidance to attain high levels of employee achievement and retention.
Ensure compliance with Safety and Quality professional standards.
Maintain a safe, well-organized workplace with active WPO in a TPS Environment.
Record daily KPIs, maintain updated reports, and summarize results at shift end.
Foster a healthy employee experience through coaching, development, and resolving issues via problem solving.
Conduct employee performance appraisals and provide real-time feedback.
Communicate and collaborate with upstream departments to ensure timely shipments aligned with customer needs.
Manage production support systems, maintain accurate scrap and inventory data, ensure proper material flow, cross-train, and submit detailed maintenance requests as needed.
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Production Leader/Shop Leader in a manufacturing environment.
Good computer skills and familiarity with ERP software, assembly management software, and Microsoft Office (Excel proficiency).
Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong work ethic.
Ability to create and adhere to production processes and deliverables.
Ability to interpret and relay production data and KPIs.
Ability to read and understand drawings/measurements/geometry.
Basic equipment troubleshooting experience.
Ability to relay detailed production/equipment downtime information.
Commitment to customer service and a drive to deliver all orders on time, safely, in the best quality.

4pm to 2am
