Operations Technician (Warehouse & Packaging) - 3rd shift

Job Summary
Packaging Technician position located at the Animal Health facility in De Soto, Kansas. The site focuses on biologics production using fermentation and cell culture platforms, filling and packaging.

Responsibilities

Work independently and as part of the packaging operations team to complete daily production activities.

Apply sealed bottle label, bottle packaging, palletization, process document completion, cycle counting, and inventory reconciliation.

Maintain accurate documentation using Good Documentation Practices.

Identify process improvement opportunities and employ basic problem‑solving skills.

Required Education
High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum 2 years of relevant work experience, or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

Required Skills & Experience

Principled verbal and written communication.

Follow and comply with Manufacturing/Packaging Directions, SOPs, and company policies.

Basic time management to meet deadlines.

Team collaboration.

Basic computer skills including MS Word and MS Excel.

Ability to work overtime as needed.

Assist in training new team members.

Operate company forklift and pallet jack.

Assist with equipment set‑up and operation.

Preferred Skills & Experience

Experience in a manufacturing/packaging environment.

Understanding of aseptic processes used in manufacturing/packaging.

Experience with SAP or other ERP systems.

Working Conditions

Third Shift Monday – Friday, 9:30 pm – 6:00 am.

Work overtime, including holidays, Saturdays and Sundays, as required.

Work in climatically controlled and non‑controlled areas.

Salary
$48,600 - $76,600 annually.

Eligible for annual bonus and long‑term incentive, if applicable.
