Position Summary
The Proposal Coordinator supports the successful pursuit of federal government opportunities by coordinating proposal development activities while building expertise in government contracting. This role serves as a key member of the Growth organization, working closely with Capture Managers, Proposal Management, Solution Architects, Finance, and Contracts to deliver compliant, competitive, and compelling proposals. The position is designed for a highly organized professional who enjoys managing complex projects, collaborating across teams, and developing specialized expertise in federal proposal operations and pricing. The Proposal Coordinator will receive on‑the‑job training and mentorship in both proposal management and government pricing with the opportunity to grow into a Proposal Manager role. The position will work, on average, 20 hours per week with fluctuations based on the requirements of the business.

Key Responsibilities
Proposal Coordination

Support the planning, organization, and execution of federal proposal efforts from solicitation release through submission.

Maintain proposal schedules, action item trackers, compliance matrices, and deliverable checklists.

Coordinate volume development, document reviews, and color team activities.

Facilitate meetings, capture decisions, and proposal status updates.

Manage proposal files, templates, version control, and document organization.

Ensure proposals comply with solicitation requirements, formatting standards, and submission instructions.

Assist with final production, quality assurance, and electronic proposal submissions.

Growth Operations

Support Capture Managers throughout the opportunity lifecycle.

Coordinate proposal kickoff meetings and cross‑functional collaboration.

Maintain proposal and pricing libraries, reusable content, and lessons learned.

Assist with proposal metrics, pipeline reporting, and continuous process improvement initiatives.

Support special projects across the Growth organization as needed.

Requirements
Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

3+ years of professional experience in program management, project management, operations, chief of staff, business operations, or a related field.

Exceptional organizational and project coordination skills.

Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Desired Qualifications

Experience supporting federal government programs or contracts.

Proposal, capture, contracts, or finance experience.

Experience with GovWin, TechnoMile, Salesforce, SharePoint, or proposal management tools.

APMP certification or interest in pursuing certification.
