Digital Video Editor

Job Responsibilities

Edit news and public affairs video for web – YouTube, Instagram, Tiktok and other social platforms

Manage media storage and organization of footage and finished projects

Oversee and adhere to quality control: audio, color correction, and other relevant video specs

Manage multiple edits and ensure on time delivery

Ensure all video content is delivered to channel managers

Additional duties, as assigned.

Requirements

A minimum four (4) years of relevant experience

Experience working as a video editor on YouTube- and social-first news programs or journalism sites

Ability to edit digital video and proficiency with Premiere/Adobe Suite required

Ability to adapt videos for use on various social media platforms

Proficiency with media management tools and software

Technical proficiency in remote content delivery

Animation skills preferred
