About Us:
M.A. Silva USA is looking for an experienced Account Manager for their Napa - Sonoma Territories to join their highly motivated and fun sales team whose headquarters are located in Santa Rosa. This is a great opportunity for a top performer to join a successful and dynamic local business.
The responsibilities of the position are many and varied. They include but are not limited to the following core responsibilities:
* Identify and pursue new customer opportunities through research, networking, and outreach.
* Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients.
* Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries.
* Prepare and present sales proposals and negotiate contracts.
* Manage assigned sales territory and maintain CRM and ERP records.
* Communicate product and policy information clearly to clients.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the wine industry and local competition.
* Attend trade events and team sales meetings.
* Submit accurate reports and required client paperwork on time.
* Travel frequently to meet clients, conduct product demos, and manage relationships (minimum 60% field time).
* Track mileage for work-related travel using the MOTUS app.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience (1-2 years).
* Established relationships with wine industry decision-makers.
* Self-starter with a proactive mindset and commitment to excellence.
* Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
* Effective presenter at all organizational levels.
* Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
* Able to work independently and collaboratively in teams or committees.
* Solid problem-solving and consultative sales skills.
* Strong analytical and math skills (e.g., discounts, commissions, percentages).
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and CRM systems.
* Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities with enthusiasm.
* Willingness and ability to travel, manage a flexible schedule, and use tools like MOTUS for mileage tracking.
