De’Vora Pet Products is a woman-owned pet products company founded in 2019 in New Jersey. We create innovative, veterinarian-recommended solutions that reduce stress around grooming and enrich the human–animal bond.

Role summary

We’re hiring a Video & Graphic Engineer to bring ideas and messaging to life across email design, social media video, graphic design, product photography, and packaging/product design. You’ll work in a collaborative team environment and own creative execution from concept through final assets.

Pay

• $17 per hour

Schedule, location, and travel

• Hours: 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, Monday–Friday

• Work setting: On-site (New Jersey)

• Travel: Occasional travel for event videography (trade shows, markets, partner events)

Key responsibilities

• Design and produce high-performing email creative (layouts, graphics, templates) aligned to brand and campaign goals.

• Create short-form social video (product demos, how-tos, before/after, FAQs, testimonials, event recaps) optimized for platform specs.

• Capture and edit product photography for ecommerce, social, email, and retail/wholesale needs (including basic lighting, styling, and retouching).

• Develop graphic assets for organic social, paid campaigns (if/when launched), website, and retail/wholesale needs.

• Support packaging and product design: dielines, labels, inserts, instruction sheets, and product-related visual systems.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to translate briefs, scripts, and product messaging into clear, compelling visual storytelling.

• Maintain and evolve De’Vora’s brand consistency across all channels (typography, color, layout, tone, visual language).

• Manage asset organization and version control; deliver files in correct formats for print, web, photo, and video.

• Assist with basic production planning for events: shot lists, capture plans, on-site filming, and post-event edits.

Required skills and qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in graphic design and video production/editing (in-house, agency, or freelance)

• Strong portfolio demonstrating:

o Email design

o Social video (short-form)

o Brand-consistent graphic systems

o Product photography (preferred)

o Packaging/print work (preferred)

• Advanced proficiency in Figma (required)

• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (required; Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro; After Effects strongly preferred)

• Strong understanding of:

o Layout, typography, and visual hierarchy

o Color management and print production basics

o Video pacing, captions, and platform-first editing

o Photo editing/retouching fundamentals

o File prep and export settings for web/social/print

• Ability to take feedback, iterate quickly, and hit deadlines without sacrificing quality

Nice-to-have

• Experience with packaging engineering concepts (dielines, materials, print vendor coordination)

• Experience filming product content (lighting, audio, stabilization)

• Familiarity with ecommerce creative needs (Amazon/Chewy/Walmart listing assets)

• Motion graphics (After Effects) and template systems

What success looks like (first 60–90 days)

• Establishes repeatable workflows for email, photo, and social creative production

• Delivers a steady cadence of on-brand social video, product photography, and graphics

• Improves creative consistency and asset organization across the business

• Supports packaging/product design needs with accurate, print-ready files
