Senior Content Marketing Manager The role is responsible for executing the firm’s content strategy and governance to elevate thought leadership, identify strategic campaign opportunities, and strengthen client engagement across all outbound channels.
Responsibilities Lead content intake and governance, reviewing submissions, aligning content with practice groups, identifying reviewers and approvers, and ensuring timely approvals.
Develop comprehensive campaign plans, including cross‑promotion, redistribution, and lifecycle extension of content, and oversee end‑to‑end execution across website, email, social, events, and aggregators.
Build and maintain a firm‑wide editorial and campaign calendar to ensure consistent workflows, strategic timing, and alignment with business goals.
Lead performance analysis for content and campaigns, identify trends and gaps, and translate insights into actionable recommendations to improve visibility and impact.
Stay current on industry best practices, communicate standards, and enforce content development guidelines.
Apply AEO, SEO, GEO and optimization best practices and analytics to enhance content discoverability across all firm channels and emerging technologies.
Partner with business development, communications, and events teams to align initiatives and deliver a consistent brand and campaign experience.
Qualifications & Skills J.D. strongly preferred; bachelor’s degree required.
7+ years of law firm experience in content development or campaign‑focused marketing.
Exceptional written and oral communication and presentation skills, especially with executive stakeholders and non‑marketing audiences.
Proficiency in marketing automation and analytics tools.
Experience with AI‑driven marketing tools and legal‑tech platforms.
Strong understanding of digital storytelling and design systems across platforms.
Salary & Benefits For New York City, Chicago, and the Washington DC metro areas, the expected salary range is $155,000–$175,000, with additional annual bonuses. For Colorado, the range is $150,000–$165,000, also subject to experience and applicable law. Compensation will be determined based on experience and other permitted factors. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan, flexible spending and health savings accounts, and firm‑paid holidays, vacation, and sick time.
