Director, Product Marketing

Job Summary
We are looking for a Director of Product Marketing who is a strategic leader responsible for product commercialization and go-to-market strategy, ensuring our products are clearly positioned, differentiated, and successfully adopted in the market. This role serves as a strategic partner to Product and Sales, translating product strategy and roadmap into compelling positioning, launches, and sales enablement that drive revenue and customer impact. The Director of Product Marketing is also responsible for gathering and synthesizing market and customer insights to inform go-to-market execution and product decision-making while partnering with internal teams and external partners to ensure consistent, effective product messaging across channels.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Product Commercialization & Go-to-Market: Own product commercialization and go-to-market strategy across the portfolio, ensuring products are clearly positioned, differentiated, and successfully adopted in the market
Product Positioning & Messaging: Define and maintain product positioning, value propositions, and benefit-driven messaging frameworks aligned to product strategy, customer needs, and competitive dynamics
Product Launches & Readiness: Lead end-to-end product launch strategy, including launch planning, messaging, enablement, and cross-functional readiness to ensure effective market entry and adoption
Sales Enablement & Effectiveness: Own sales enablement strategy, equipping Sales with the tools, messaging, and insights required to sell effectively and consistently across segments and markets
Enablement Content & Asset Governance: Own the strategy, structure, and governance of product marketing and sales enablement assets, ensuring clarity, consistency, version control, and accessibility across the organization
Market Insights & Voice of the Customer: Establish structured processes to gather, synthesize, and analyze market and customer insight, including voice of the customer and field feedback, to inform product marketing and go-to-market decisions
Competitive Intelligence & Differentiation: Lead competitive analysis and market intelligence efforts, translating insights into differentiated positioning, messaging, and strategic recommendations
Product Feedback Loops & Roadmap Influence: Create feedback loops that ensure market insights and customer learnings are systematically incorporated into product planning, prioritization, and roadmap decisions
Segmentation & Use-Case Definition: Define target segments, personas, and use cases to guide product strategy, commercialization, and sales engagement
Cross-Functional Alignment & Leadership: Serve as the primary product marketing partner to Product and Sales, ensuring alignment from product conception through launch and ongoing commercialization
Partner & Vendor Direction: Provide strategic direction to external partners and vendors on product positioning, messaging, and launch requirements, ensuring alignment
Performance Measurement & Optimization: Define and track success metrics for go-to-market initiatives, launches, and enablement, using insights to continuously refine product marketing strategy and impact

Proficiency with product marketing and sales enablement tools and workflows
Strong understanding of go-to-market models, buyer journeys, and sales processes
Experience providing strategic direction to external partners and agencies
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands‑on execution
Creative, collaborative, and adaptable approach to problem-solving
Strong ability to define, communicate, and pursue expected outcomes, maintaining a results‑oriented focus to ensure goals are met or exceeded
Education and Experience
Degree in Marketing, or related discipline (or combination of education & work experience)
8+ years of progressive marketing, commercial, or product management experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or director‑level role
Demonstrated experience in budget management, digital marketing, branding, and campaign execution
Proven track record of managing and developing high‑performing product or marketing teams
