Job Description
Our client has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Trust Relationship Manager to join a stable, long-established wealth management organization that offers wealth management, investment management, financial and retirement planning, trust services, legacy planning, estate administration, and institutional services. The company serves clients across Missouri, Colorado, Kansas, Florida, and Oklahoma.
The Trust Relationship Manager will be responsible for developing and managing client relationships while helping clients identify and work toward their financial goals. She or he will work closely with clients, attorneys, CPAs, portfolio managers, trust professionals, and other internal partners to deliver a high level of personalized service. Most clients are local. This position offers a competitive compensation package, including bonus potential up to 20%. Relocation assistance is available and negotiable.
Key Responsibilities
Build, develop, and maintain strong client relationships.
Work with clients to understand their financial goals, needs, and objectives.
Serve as a trusted relationship manager and primary point of contact for clients.
Collaborate with attorneys, CPAs, and other professional advisors.
Partner with internal trust, investment, planning, and banking professionals.
Support clients with wealth management, trust, planning, and estate-related needs.
Provide exceptional service with a focus on long-term client retention.
Represent the company professionally in the local market.
Participate in community and professional activities.
This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of relevant wealth management, trust, financial planning, or relationship management experience.
10 or more years of experience preferred.
Bachelor’s degree required.
Advanced degree a plus.
CFP designation preferred.
Strong relationship management and client service skills.
Ability to work effectively with attorneys, CPAs, clients, and internal team members.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
Interest in being active in the local community.
Willingness to work in the office.
