Job Summary
This role is responsible for the daily operation, coordination, execution, and support of video- and audio-enabled events, meetings, and conferences throughout the Tarrant County College District (TCCD).

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Essential Performance Requirements

Leads all phases of video production for the College, including directing, editing, lighting, audio, and field or studio operations

Manages live streaming productions and virtual events, including equipment setup, platform administration, and delivery through video-on-demand systems, YouTube Live, Zoom, and Microsoft Teams

Coordinates production team members and collaborates with campus support departments to ensure successful project execution

Provides consultation and technical guidance to faculty, staff, and leadership on video production and live-streaming initiatives

Recommends audio and video equipment, computer software and hardware, and materials for use in television production facilities

Service Excellence

Participates on behalf of the College in external community organizations and associations as assigned to support the essential performance requirements

Attends the workplace regularly, reports to work punctually, and follows a work schedule to keep up with the demands of the worksite

Completes all required training and professional development sessions sponsored through Tarrant County College (TCC)

Supports the mission, values, goals, and principles of the College

Supervision
Works under the supervision of the assigned department leader

Required Minimum Qualifications

Associate’s degree or 60 college credit hours and three (3) years’ working experience related to the Essential Performance Requirements; or any equivalent combination of education and work-related experience

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Video Production or related field

At least one (1) year’s professional working experience in a higher education environment

Adobe Certified Professional – Premiere Pro

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Knowledge of video streaming platforms, device software, and the configuration and interconnectivity of video production equipment and systems used to support large-scale live streaming events

Knowledge of video and audio production hardware, equipment, and related technologies used in multimedia production environments

Knowledge of basic and advanced editing concepts and the codecs, file formats, and compression standards used in the creation and delivery of digital media content

Skilled in performing and prioritizing multiple tasks seamlessly, ensuring accurate and timely completion while exhibiting strong attention to detail and organization

Skilled in delivering high-quality customer service and building effective interpersonal relationships, including strong listening, verbal, and written communication skills

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in collaborative environments, engaging with faculty, staff, and external stakeholders

Ability to coordinate assigned work, manage schedules and priorities, and support campus and departmental operations

Ability to use computer applications and enterprise systems, including the Microsoft Office suite and the Microsoft 365 platform

Ability to identify routine issues and elevate non-standard problems using established procedures in a fast-paced work environment

Ability to consistently apply policies, procedures, and operational guidelines to ensure accuracy, compliance, and quality outcomes
