Position Overview

Responsibilities

Engage business owners in discussions about their goals and translate insights into growth and impact on personal wealth.

Integrate transition‑planning strategies into personal and corporate planning, evaluating options like retain vs. sell, estate‑planning techniques, and tax considerations.

Explain how transition strategies affect a company’s capital structure and owners’ tax positions (e.g., redemptions, dividend recapitalizations, equity grants).

Navigate behavioral and family dynamics with business owners, addressing issues such as fair vs. equal considerations.

Maintain working knowledge of corporate structures, owner cash‑flow considerations, and the estate‑tax landscape.

Consult with clients across the full range of succession planning solutions, partnering internally with Asset Management and commercial & industrial banking teams.

Assess resources required for tax, estate and financial plans, managing efficiency and aligning strategic alternatives offered by PNC.

Conduct research, develop tax, estate and financial analyses, and make recommendations to clients and associates.

Drive asset‑growth by advising clients, prospects and Centers of Influence, identifying sales opportunities to enhance relationships.

Build new client relationships through networking, prospecting and referrals.

Preferred Qualifications (Not Required)

Background as a credit analyst.

Corporate and/or personal tax experience in public accounting.

Combined Trust & Estate and Corporate Tax experience as an attorney or CPA.

Experience in a similar role within a financial institution.

Advising family office clients.

Qualifications
Competencies:

Client Relationship Management, Customer Experience Management, Decision Making and Critical Thinking, Financial Services Industry, Networking, Sales Scoping and Qualification, Value Selling.

Work Experience:

8+ years of industry-relevant experience. University or college degree required; advanced degrees and certifications desirable. Comparable combinations of education, experience and certifications may be considered.

Bachelor’s degree.

Pay Transparency
Base Salary: $133,000 – $247,000, with incentive pay based on performance.
