Overview

Paint Seibi Technician – responsible for programming paint and plastic robots to meet Toyota and Lexus Quality standards. The role supports the Paint Department’s objective of delivering the highest quality at the lowest cost.
Key Requirements

1+ years’ experience with high and low viscosity paint processes.
Digital engineering experience.
Kawasaki and Fanuc robot programming experience.
Knowledge of Toyota Quality Standards.
Experience with quality instruments.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel.
Strong communication skills across multiple platforms.
2‑ or 4‑year technical degree or equivalent experience.
PLC logic and troubleshooting skills.
Optional Skills

Conveyor circuit and safety interlock knowledge.
Responsibilities

Offline simulations and online programming (Carrot 3 and Catia).
Quality adjustment for Topcoat, Underbody, and Plastics shop.
Equipment confirmations.
Create and manage schedules.
Generate status reports.
Communicate with Paint Production Engineering specialists and other Paint Seibi technicians.
Coordinate with Paint pilot members.
Program Topcoat, UBC, and Plastics robots.
Run quality trials and troubleshoot process and robot programs.
Resolve conflicts in job scope and design.
