VP, TV Development & Production – Alloy Entertainment
Role Accountabilities

Identify Alloy properties and external material to adapt, develop, pitch, and sell to television networks and streaming platforms.
Find writers for series development, series staffing, and streaming development projects.
Work closely with writers to develop pitches, write outlines, and provide story and script notes.
Oversee production of pilots and series.
Perform additional related duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience

Work Experience

Minimum 8+ years relevant work experience.
Minimum 2 years director experience in development at a studio, network, streamer, or production company.
Education & Training

High school diploma or equivalent required.
College degree in a related field strongly preferred.
Knowledge/Skills

Knowledge of feature films and/or television (past and present).
Pop culture and social media awareness.
Excellent communication skills—verbal and written.
Strong critical thinking and persuasion skills.
Knowledge of story structure.
Strong background in creative analysis, script reading, and providing notes.
Ability to generate creative ideas for projects.
Effective, tactful communication with all levels of personnel, both in person and over the telephone.
Exceptional interpersonal skills with a collaborative working style.
Production/on set experience preferred.
Other Requirements

Work well under time constraints in a fast‑paced environment.
Ability to multi‑task, organize, and schedule work effectively.
Detail‑oriented.
Work flexible hours, including overtime, as necessary.
Experience staffing a series.
Production experience.
Compensation and Benefits

Pay Range: $161,000.00 – $299,000.00 per year. Additional rewards may include annual bonuses, short‑ and long‑term incentives, and program‑specific awards. Benefits include health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, sick time, and vacation.
