UI/UX Designer (12 months contract renewable / convertible) #NJH

UI/UX Designer

We're seeking a UI/UX Designer to craft intuitive, visually compelling digital experiences. You'll own the design process from research and wireframes through to polished, production-ready interfaces, working closely with product managers and engineers to bring ideas to life.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing to inform design decisions
Create wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and high-fidelity mockups
Design and maintain a consistent design system / component library
Translate business requirements into intuitive, user-centered designs
Collaborate with product managers and developers throughout the product lifecycle
Iterate on designs based on user feedback and data insights
Ensure designs meet accessibility (WCAG) and responsive design standards
Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders
Stay current with UI/UX trends, tools, and best practices
Required Skills & Qualifications

3+ years of experience in UI/UX design for web and/or mobile products
Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD
Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design process
Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and design thinking
Experience creating wireframes, prototypes, and design systems
Understanding of accessibility standards and responsive design
Ability to translate user research and data into design decisions
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Nice to Have

Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS to collaborate effectively with developers
Experience with motion design / micro-interactions
Familiarity with user research methods and usability testing tools
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
