Copywriter

Job Overview
We are looking for a seasoned Copywriter to join our in‑house creative team at Duke Cannon Supply Co., a fast‑growing men’s grooming brand based in Minneapolis.

Primary Responsibilities

Develop and edit original, engaging copy for product packaging, web, email, social media, scripts, and other marketing assets.

Proofread and edit copy to ensure high editorial standards.

Translate complex ideas into concise and persuasive language that resonates with our target audiences.

Collaborate with design and marketing teams to develop and execute integrated campaigns.

Maintain and evolve the brand voice, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints.

Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand messaging goals and audience needs.

Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute to campaign strategy and creative concepts.

Stay informed about content trends, SEO best practices and emerging platforms.

Qualifications

5+ years of professional copywriting experience, preferably in an agency or in‑house creative environment.

Strong portfolio showcasing a range of creative work across multiple media.

Exceptional writing, editing and proofreading skills.

Ability to think strategically and write creatively under tight deadlines.

Deep understanding of brand voice and tone.

Comfortable presenting ideas and receiving constructive feedback.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

Packaging experience.

Broadcast and social video experience.

Experience with DTC, content strategy, SEO and user‑centered messaging.

Experience working with a CPG company.

Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and Illustrator).

Familiarity with project‑management tools such as Asana, Wrike, or Sprout.

Benefits and Compensation
Competitive base salary ranging from $84,000 to $100,000, plus performance‑based bonus.

Benefits include health and dental insurance, HSA and 401(k) with company contributions, tuition reimbursement, monthly parking stipend, and regular team events.

Work Location and Hours
On‑site role based in the Minneapolis office. Regular office presence required Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
