Job Summary
Our Department is seeking a qualified U.S. Ski and Snowboard Timing and Calculations staff member. This role is a Winter seasonal opportunity to be part of a growing team. The Competition Service Specialist performs complex and skilled tasks associated with the day-to-day operations of race venues and events, either front of the house or back of the house. Responsibilities may include advanced course setting for skiing and mountain biking, skilled labor maintenance of the race venue, light carpentry, and hill clean up.
Job Specifications
Starting Wage: $22.50/hr - $32.14/hr depending on U.S. Ski and Snowboard Certification level

Job Responsibilities
Continuously strive to exceed guests’ expectations.
Stay up to date with all event information and act as resort ambassador.
Event venue set up – includes but is not limited to installing fences, tents, banners, timing wire, closures, etc.
Responsible use and proper daily storage of timing equipment, fencing, banners, shovels, and other event materials.
Maintain cleanliness and safe access to equipment storage areas.
Assist in the transportation of event equipment.
Responsible for mountain radio, batteries, and drill bit, issued at the start of the season.
Ensure all competitions are executed to meet the needs of the rider’s security and event criteria.
Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
Ability to lift up to, and sometimes more than, 50 lbs.
Ability to work with power tools (cordless drills, etc.).
Ability to safely operate authorized vehicles.
Ability to multitask and focus on details as they pertain to competitions.
Ability to perform in a highly active environment.
Valid U.S. Driver’s license.
High school diploma.
Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
Strong computer skills including homologated timing equipment, Excel, and Microsoft software.
Must be able to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
Race Course Officials license – required.
Timing and Calculations USSA official’s license – required.
