We are looking for a uniquely qualified hospitality leader to join our team as a Marketing Coordinator. This role partners closely with Sales, Marketing & Revenue Management (SMR), Operations, and Regional Marketing teams to ensure all marketing efforts are fully integrated and aligned with hotel and brand objectives.

Essential Functions

Marketing & Digital Strategy

Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies, plans, and budgets aligned with hotel business priorities, in partnership with the General Manager

Actively participate in demand generation and SMR strategy development

Support topline revenue growth, RevPAR, and share‑of‑wallet objectives through targeted marketing initiatives

Partner with Revenue Management to develop and execute promotional strategies

Reconcile marketing plans monthly with accruals and forecasts in collaboration with the Director of Finance

Manage digital strategy across Marriott.com, third‑party channels, paid media, and local partner platforms

Support group lead generation initiatives

Brand & Content Management

Serve as brand guardian to ensure all marketing reflects brand voice, positioning, and standards

Manage content across Marriott.com (EPIC, eFast, MDS Client Community), OTAs, third‑party, and group sites

Set overarching messaging strategy aligned with hotel positioning

Manage photography sourcing, distribution, and gallery updates

Develop landing pages, Discovery Pages, and enhanced content as applicable

Oversee guest communications, including confirmation and pre‑arrival messaging

Partnerships, PR & Activation

Identify and activate incremental marketing opportunities through partnerships, CVBs, and third‑party platforms

Cultivate strong relationships with Marriott Digital Services (MDS), regional marketing teams, and external partners

Manage PR agency relationships and/or internal PR messaging

Execute PR events, promotions, and property‑level programming in collaboration with Hotel Operations and F&B leadership

Food & Beverage & Ancillary Marketing

Showcase Food & Beverage promotions to both hotel guests and local patrons

Define in‑house F&B programming in partnership with the Director of Food & Beverage and manage execution

Manage outlet marketing opportunities on third‑party and local partner platforms

Social Media

Develop and implement organic and paid social media strategies

Manage paid social media budgets and performance

Review and guide social media content calendars, highlighting local and property events

Reporting & Administration

Measure, analyze, and communicate campaign performance and digital results using relevant reporting tools

Present findings and recommendations to SMR leadership as requested

Manage internal and external partners to ensure timely execution of deliverables

Collect, review, and submit invoices related to property marketing efforts

Lead and direct asset development including hotel collateral, photoshoots, and content production

Perform other reasonable duties as requested by leadership

Specific Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Strong understanding of hospitality marketing, digital media, and demand generation

Ability to develop and execute integrated marketing strategies across multiple channels

Experience managing digital platforms, paid media, and third‑party distribution channels

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance data and adjust strategy

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously

Strong relationship‑building and negotiation skills with internal and external stakeholders

Working knowledge of Marriott marketing systems and digital tools preferred

Physical Demands

Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods

Ability to use vision, hands, and arms for computer‑based and administrative tasks

Ability to lift and carry materials up to 25 pounds occasionally

Ability to operate effectively in mentally demanding and deadline‑driven environments

Qualification Standards

Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Business, or related field preferred

1–3 years of experience in marketing, digital, communications, or a related field

Hospitality or digital marketing experience preferred but not required
