To enhance public health communications, the full-time remote Public Health Social Media Specialist will manage social media content, develop digital engagement plans, and create health communication materials while monitoring performance metrics and supporting continuous improvement efforts.
Key responsibilities
Managing and maintaining social media content across various platforms, including LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram
Developing and executing social media and digital engagement plans aligned with public health priorities
Creating and editing a range of health communication products, such as newsletters and outreach materials
Required qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Health, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field
At least 2 years of relevant professional experience in health communications or digital communications
Experience developing communication materials for public-facing audiences
Knowledge of public health communications and health literacy best practices
Experience using social media management and scheduling platforms
