About the Role
The Senior Vice President, Global Sales will lead the transformation and acceleration of HARMAN Professional Solutions’ global commercial strategy. As a member of the Professional Solutions executive team, the SVP will shape and execute a scalable go-to-market model, strengthen key customer relationships, and expand presence across priority markets. This leader will play a critical role in driving growth, improving operational discipline, and positioning the business for long-term success.
Responsibilities
Lead the global sales regions for the Professional Solutions SBU, with accountability for strategy, operations, and financial performance.
Strategy
- Align the Global Markets strategy with the Professional Solutions SBU and Lifestyle Division priorities.
- Drive growth and expansion across key markets, segments, and channels.
- Work closely with corporate and division leadership to strengthen market position and long-term performance.
Operations
- Lead overall performance and operating discipline across the global markets.
- Drive financial planning, including budgets, KPIs, and investment priorities in partnership with Finance.
- Build and lead a high‑performing organization, focused on engagement, capability, and talent development.
- Serve as a senior ambassador for the regions, internally and externally.
Sales & Marketing
- Provide corporate and SBU leadership with a global sales plan and strategy for the Global Markets.
- Define and execute the global sales strategy across regions and customer segments.
- Drive revenue growth and margin performance through strong commercial execution.
- Lead sales planning, resource allocation, and customer targeting across global markets.
- Oversee key account strategy and support enterprise customer engagement.
- Align closely with SBU and division leadership on product planning and portfolio strategy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- Deep understanding of the professional Audio, Video, and Lighting industry or adjacent sectors.
- Proven track record of leading global, multi‑region sales organizations with full P&L accountability.
- Demonstrated success driving revenue growth, margin expansion, and market share gains.
- Experience building and scaling go‑to‑market strategies across diverse markets and channels.
- Ability to lead through complexity, driving alignment and execution across global teams.
- Builds high‑performing organizations with strong leadership bench and talent development.
- Enterprise mindset with the ability to shape strategy and drive outcomes at scale.
- Experience partnering closely with product, marketing, and finance to drive business performance.
- Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior leaders, customers, and partners.
- Data‑driven decision making with a focus on measurable business impact.
- Clear, concise communicator across all levels of the organization.

Eligibility
- Willingness to travel 50% domestic and international.
- Willing to work out of a HARMAN office on a hybrid model.
- Understanding that flexibility in working hours is required.
- Successfully complete a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.

Pay Transparency
$307,500 – $451,000, dependent on the position offered. Other forms of compensation such as bonuses or commission may be available. Pay is based on a wide range of factors, including, but not limited to, skill set, experience, training, location, and business need.
