About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President, Commercial Strategy to play a pivotal role in the establishment of its cell therapy commercial organization. The successful candidate will be a key member of the Commercial Leadership Team, responsible for shaping the strategic and operational foundation for the company's first product launch and long-term commercial success. This role involves close collaboration with the CEO, Executive Committee, and various cross-functional teams to develop and execute commercial and brand strategies, as well as operations plans. The VP will also be tasked with translating clinical, scientific, and market insights into a compelling launch narrative, and go-to-market plan, and ensuring the successful execution of the launch framework.

Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree (MBA or advanced degree preferred) and at least 15 years of progressive commercial experience in biopharmaceuticals, with a focus on strategic marketing, sales, and/or commercial operations. A minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership role and direct experience in launch planning for specialty, rare disease, oncology, or cell/gene therapy products are essential. The role requires a proven track record in commercial or brand strategy, budget management, and a deep understanding of commercial data sources. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and a passion for serving patients with serious, underserved, or life-threatening diseases. An entrepreneurial mindset, comfort with ambiguity, and a hands-on approach are also key attributes for this position.
