Summary
The Product Manager will be responsible for the management of all business activities for a portion of the Premium Sausage business. This role manages the P&L to meet Annual Operating Plan objectives and will be focused on customer brands while also supporting branded business as well.
Responsibilities
Own the P&L for the business, including developing and executing business plans, pricing and/or cost savings strategies to deliver against category volume, profit, and customer needs.
Engage in customer meetings.
Lead development of new product introductions, including packaging graphics and communication to Sales.
Collaborate with sales to integrate customer strategies into the innovation pipeline.
Work with partners to improve innovation forecast accuracy, maximize opportunities, and develop plans to deliver against JBP objectives.
Act as liaison with corporate functions to ensure business initiatives receive necessary focus.
Analyze data to identify insights and translate them into business initiatives or actionable tasks to drive results.
Own the monthly volume forecast for assigned categories, coordinating between demand and supply planning.
Engage and lead cross‑functional teams for assigned projects.
Monitor industry trends, market share, and competitive activity.
Partner with the innovation team to develop and execute innovation plans, including concept development, feasibility validation, product and packaging design, R&D, business proposal, and project approval.
Support the sales organization in integrating customer strategies into business plans.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience, preferably in consumer‑packaged goods product marketing.
Proven track record in managing and meeting volume and profit targets.
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Effective collaborator with the ability to lead cross‑functional teams.
Ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.

Work Shift: 1ST SHIFT (United States of America).
