Senior Motion & Visual Design Associate
LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Senior Motion & Visual Design Associate on behalf of our agency client. This role focuses on creating strong, visually compelling design across digital channels, while also bringing those concepts to life through motion. The position requires a solid foundation in static design with the ability to extend that work into motion-based assets.

This role is ideal for a designer who enjoys both visual design and motion storytelling, and who can balance hands‑on execution with conceptual thinking. The Motion & Visual Designer will partner closely with cross‑functional teams to develop cohesive creative across a variety of formats. This role is hybrid in New York, NY.

Responsibilities

Create high‑quality static design across presentations, social content, branding, and web

Extend static designs into motion‑based assets across social, web, and video

Develop motion creative with strong attention to pacing, transitions, and overall quality

Maintain consistency across visual systems, ensuring cohesive design across all deliverables

Contribute to creative concepts and visual direction, using references and examples to align teams

Partner with internal stakeholders including design, content, and strategy teams to execute creative initiatives

Own projects from concept through final delivery, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met

Provide feedback and guidance to junior team members as needed

Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast‑paced, client‑driven environment

Ensure files are organized and prepared for clean handoff and collaboration

Qualifications

3–5 years of experience in visual design, motion design, or a related creative field; agency experience preferred

Strong foundation in visual design, including typography, layout, and composition across digital formats

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and familiarity with Figma

Experience with Adobe After Effects and a working understanding of motion principles such as timing, easing, and transitions

Ability to move quickly while maintaining high‑quality output

Comfortable working cross‑functionally and incorporating feedback into design iterations

Strong organizational and time‑management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities

Portfolio demonstrating both static and motion design work required

Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $65,000–$75,000
