Total Rewards Manager
serves the organization to help establish and administer compensation and benefits programs, working to align our rewards programs with our people strategies, ensuring the ongoing competitiveness of our rewards, and ensuring compliance with all related rules, laws and standards. This position assists in the design, development and implementation of all benefits and compensation programs. The development and delivery of team member tools and communications as well as the ability to effectively communicate through a variety of in-person and written communications are important to this role’s success.
Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities
Partner with leadership to design and administer total rewards programs that attract, retain, and engage team members.
Oversee benefits administration, including health, welfare, retirement, and executive plans; ensure compliance, accuracy, and a positive team member experience.
Manage broker and vendor relationships, open enrollment, and communication tools and materials.
Monitor industry trends, benchmarks, and internal data to keep compensation and benefits programs competitive and aligned with organizational strategies.
Maintain job structures, market pricing, and pay equity reviews; support annual compensation adjustments and survey participation.
Provide training, tools, and communications to ensure leaders and team members understand and utilize rewards programs effectively.
Education & Experience
A two‑year degree in a related area of study is required with a bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration or a similar field preferred. Prior work experience may be considered in lieu of the degree.
4+ years of prior experience in the administration of benefits and/or compensation is required.
Knowledge of benefits programs including health and welfare programs as well as 401k requirements is required.
Strong knowledge of benefits‑related rules and compliance with ERISA, IRS and similar laws and regulations.
Must have a working knowledge of FLSA compliance for the purposes of job analysis and compensation design.
Demonstrated strong knowledge of HR Information systems, developing data metrics and generating complex reports.
Previous experience with UKG is preferred.
