Customer Sales Representative

Overview

Precision Display Repairs (PDR), located in Camarillo, CA, has an opening for a Customer Service Representative. The role involves direct communication with customers via telephone and email to promptly address inquiries and resolve issues, ensuring overall customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities

Deal directly with customers as the first point of contact
Follow up on customer inquiries
Provide customers with product and service information
Identify, research and resolve customer issues using the computer system
Update customer information in the computer system as needed
Verify shipped products are scanned out at the correct price in the computer system
Advise Accounting via email of invoicing amounts for shipped products, along with a copy of the packing list
Produce customer performance reports
Assign Return Merchandise Authorization (RMAs) as necessary
Qualifications

Knowledge of general office clerical procedures
Strong computer skills with expertise in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Ability to regularly exercise sound judgment
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Exceptional communication skills to interact with customers and provide clear responses
Strong customer service skills to ensure customers feel valued
Patience and empathy to handle frustrated customers and provide effective solutions
Problem-solving skills to identify issues and develop solutions promptly
Technical knowledge to understand the product or service and guide customers through resolution steps
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Some negotiation skills are a plus
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail to ensure accuracy of purchase orders
Education/Training

High school diploma; AS in Administration a plus
Experience

At least two years of related customer service experience, customer-facing role, or related field preferred

Other duties may be assigned to support logistics, administrative roles, personnel, or projects as needed.
Working Conditions

Physical Demands:

May require sitting or standing for extended periods; frequent walking, bending, and reaching to shoulder level; occasional squatting, lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling up to 20 pounds; repetitive hand movement; eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity; corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
Equipment Operated:

Ability to operate office machines and troubleshoot equipment problems.
