Job Description

What We Need From You
Manage day‑to‑day planning independently while being guided by group planning directors.
Facilitate the strategic creative process, including insight gathering, audience understanding, and brief development.
Create, manage, and implement research that supports the creative strategy.
Inspire the team with effective, culturally relevant work and lead day‑to‑day strategic initiatives.
Engage in developing smart, disruptive creative strategies and share responsibility for brand performance.
Recommend growth and development strategies.
Provide energy, support, and inspiration to the team.
Work with clients to formulate better briefs and tasks.
Build positive, productive client relationships.
Balance detailed focus with a big‑picture perspective.
Drive the team, the client, and the work forward.
Maintain a high hit‑rate and exemplary work quality.

Senior strategist focused on technology, finance, B2B, and startup categories.

What You’ll Do
Land unique and provocative brand repositioning that sets the stage for disruptive work.
Transform complex collaboration into a compelling brand strategy and roadmap to unlock creative and commercial growth.
Build trusted client relationships to become a strategic partner and go‑to brand visionary.
Discover amazing creative ideas and frame strategic opportunities for the agency’s creatives.
Guide research initiatives and partner with clients to ensure research supports agency work.
Qualifications
4‑6+ years’ experience in advertising, marketing, or a related field that includes creative work, qualitative research, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Evidence of developing and launching brands in technology, B2B, or startup industries.
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and written communication skills.
Power‑user skills in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Keynote, and Google Apps.
Familiarity with a wide range of research and intelligence sources.
Based in Los Angeles with a salary range of $100,000‑$125,000.
