Marketing & Business Development Coordinator
Quantum Manufacturing is a metal fabrication facility in Manchester, Tennessee, specializing in laser cutting, brake forming, welding, assembly, and powder coating, serving customers across a broad range of industries including metal enclosures, industrial equipment, construction, and OEM manufacturing. We are hiring a Marketing & Business Development Coordinator to drive top-of-funnel growth - building our brand presence, generating qualified leads, and making first contact with prospective customers. This is a prospecting-first role: while marketing and content are part of the job, your primary measure of success is opportunities generated and handed off to our internal team for closing.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Identify and research target accounts across a broad range of industries that rely on metal fabrication - enclosures, industrial equipment, construction, OEM, and more

Conduct outbound prospecting via cold email, LinkedIn, phone, and other channels to generate new sales conversations

Qualify inbound and outbound leads - gather enough detail (part type, volume, timeline, specs) to hand off a scoped, actionable opportunity

Maintain a lead pipeline/tracker and follow a defined handoff process with our plant manager and leadership team

Track outreach activity and conversion metrics; report on what's working

Manage social media presence (LinkedIn primarily) - project highlights, capability content, shop photos/video

Develop marketing materials: capability sheets, case studies, project spotlights

Maintain and improve our website and other digital presence

Represent Quantum Manufacturing at trade shows or industry events as needed

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

2+ years of experience in B2B marketing, sales development, or business development — manufacturing/industrial experience strongly preferred

Experience in or exposure to metal fabrication processes (laser cutting, brake forming, welding, powder coating, and assembly) preferred

Demonstrated comfort with cold outreach and prospecting — this is not a pure content/social media role

Ability to read and understand basic part prints/specs well enough to qualify a lead (or willingness to learn quickly)

Strong written and verbal communication skills for outreach, content creation, and lead handoff notes

Self-starter who can work independently and manage a pipeline without close supervision

Experience with CRM or lead-tracking tools (Microsoft 365 / SharePoint experience a plus)

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred but not required with relevant experience

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

A steady, growing pipeline of qualified opportunities handed off to our closing team

Defined SLA for lead handoff and follow-up turnaround between this role and the plant manager

Growing brand visibility and inbound interest from target industries
