Responsibilities
Lead the day-to-day administration of the organization's self-funded medical, dental, vision, and wellness programs.
Serve as the primary relationship manager for third-party administrators (TPA), pharmacy benefit managers (PBM), and other benefits vendors.
Monitor healthcare claims utilization and recommend cost-containment strategies.
Oversee stop-loss coverage, reimbursements, renewals, and vendor performance.
Develop and implement wellness and population health initiatives.
Administer the organization's compensation philosophy and salary structures.
Conduct compensation analyses and recommend salary adjustments and incentive programs.
Configure benefit plans and optimize HRIS functionality to eliminate manual processes.
Ensure compliance with ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, COBRA, and other applicable regulations.
Partner with Finance to review monthly premium equivalents and budgeting.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
Seven (7) to ten (10) years of progressive experience leading compensation and benefits programs.
Five (5) or more years of direct experience managing self-funded medical plans.
Demonstrated experience developing compensation strategies, salary structures, market pricing, and pay equity initiatives.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, formulas, reporting, financial modeling, and data analysis.
Experience administering HRIS/payroll systems, preferably Paycom.
Excellent analytical, communication, project management, and organizational skills.
