Overview
BVP is an intentionally diverse network of tuition‑free public charter schools. As a founding member of the National Coalition of Diverse Charter Schools, BVP offers high‑quality school choice to families in Central Falls, Cumberland, Lincoln, and Pawtucket. The mission of Blackstone Valley Prep is to prepare every scholar to achieve their goals for college and the world beyond. BVP’s scholars will graduate empowered as learners, individuals, and community members to access opportunities and break down barriers. BVP Mayoral Academy is now hiring dedicated team members who are willing to do whatever it takes to put all scholars on a path to college. Successful candidates should understand and advocate for the importance of equity in classrooms, curriculums, and throughout school systems.

Specific Responsibilities of the Office Manager

Provide administrative and operational support

Maintain the lobby and Main Office

Maintain school supplies and storage

Support finance and bookkeeping functions

Support key operational systems

Collect and enter student and teacher data for state reporting and payroll

Serve as a productive member of the BVP community

Qualifications

2-3 years of office experience, preferably in an education agency

College degree strongly preferred

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English and Spanish

Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Maturity and ability to work independently

Strong interpersonal skills with scholars, parents, colleagues, and community members

Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines

Associates preferred

Experience as an administrative assistant

Background in data analytics, office management

Bilingual Spanish required

Compensation Range
$42,318 - $46,772
