Job Summary The Communication Strategist, under the direction of the Organizational Communications Manager, develops internal communication strategy based on stakeholders’ business objectives and target audiences’ needs. The role involves maintaining editorial calendars, overseeing end‑to‑end project and campaign execution, creating and publishing content, and delivering performance insights and recommendations.
Responsibilities Develop strategic communication plans for internal initiatives to promote organizational understanding and successful business outcomes.
Create and maintain editorial calendars and channel strategies.
Research and report industry trends and recommend communication strategies.
Maintain content strategy forecast in collaboration with marketing, communications, Knowledge Management, and business stakeholders.
Partner to develop and implement the strategy for the Organizational Communications Playbook (channel and style guide).
Own communication channel strategy, including creation of personas and user stories.
Define requirements for communication templates and standards for stakeholder use to automate work.
Establish critical path, milestones, and delivery dates for communication projects and review stakeholder deliverables to ensure they meet acceptance criteria and align with business focus.
Lead campaign discoveries, kickoff meetings, prepare communication plans and creative briefs.
Own and lead communications focus groups and adjust strategies accordingly.
Facilitate campaign debrief meetings to gather lessons learned, provide campaign performance data, and establish best practices for future campaigns.
Manage content and engagement analytics throughout campaigns and systems to assess communication performance and adjust strategy and systems as necessary.
Develop and apply a metric system and benchmarking for output of the Organizational Communications, including formalizing standard operating procedures.
Collaborate with all marketing and communications teams to ensure they understand communication strategies and stakeholder expectations.
Comply with all regulations as required by law, including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act, OFAC, FACT Act, GLBA, RegulationCC (funds availability) and Regulation.
Qualifications Experience: Minimum of eight years of strategic communications management, including data analysis. Five additional years of progressive communications or marketing experience with emphasis on data analysis or process improvement may substitute for a bachelor’s degree.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, English, business, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
Licenses and Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Certified Project Management Practitioner (CPMP), or other project certification preferred.
Computer/Office Equipment Skills: Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel). Proficiency with Workfront or other project management software preferred.
Managerial Responsibility: No direct supervisory/managerial responsibilities, but leads work assignments.
Language Skills: Expertise in expressing ideas, methodology, results, and recommendations verbally, in writing, and through insightful reports and graphic illustrations; ability to document outcomes and present information to stakeholders.

Knowledge of financial operations and business practices preferred.
Physical Abilities: Ability to speak, hear, sit, use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms consistently; ability to stand, walk, kneel or crouch occasionally; vision requirements for close and distance vision and color vision.
Legal and Geographic Constraints This Job is not eligible to be performed in Colorado or Connecticut, either remotely or in‑person.
